Questions & Answers

What clinicians ask about Ecko, answered plainly.

What does Ecko do that a scribe does not?

A scribe listens to one hour and gives you a note. Ecko carries the whole client file. It briefs you before the session, documents during it, drafts the letters, plans and reports after it, sends the work your client does in the week, scores their measures, and then lets you ask questions of the entire history.

What can I ask Ecko about a client?

Anything you would ask a colleague who had read the whole file. What has shifted since intake, what we have already tried and how it went, what the measures are doing, what themes keep returning. The answer comes back with the sessions and scores it drew on, so you can check it before you use it.

Which of my subscriptions does Ecko replace?

Telehealth, practice management, scribe, assessment tools, report writing tools, AI chat tools, resource creation platforms, your resource storage folder, and your payment and claims platform. All on one client record and one login.

How does this change what the session feels like for my client?

You are looking at them instead of at a screen, and you walk in already across their file, so the first ten minutes are not spent catching up. Between sessions they have the exercises you chose, in your words, on their phone.

Who stays in control of the clinical record?

You do, at every point. Ecko drafts, surfaces and suggests. Nothing enters the clinical record until you review it and sign it, and the clinical judgement is always yours.

What do I tell my client?

You do not have to write anything yourself. We provide free informed consent forms you can use with your clients, and client information sheets you can hand them, on the Resources tab.

Where does my client data live?

In Australia, on Google Cloud in Sydney, encrypted at rest and isolated per practice. Client data is never used to train public AI models. Full detail on the Security page.

Can I keep Halaxy, Cliniko, Zanda, Splose or my other practice management system while I try Ecko?

Yes. Run Ecko alongside your current practice system and keep booking and billing where they are, and replace everything else you are paying for with Ecko. Or move everything across to Ecko entirely, since it has its own practice management system built in if you wish to use it.
